What should I do during the security screening?
In order to speed up security screening, please follow the instructions of the airport staff and, using the trays provided, place into the x-ray machine:
- your hand luggage;
- laptop computer, tablet and/or electrical items measuring A5 (21cm X 15cm) or larger must be removed from your cabin baggage and screened separately;
- coats or jackets;
- metal items;
- your duty free LAGs (gels, aerosols, pastes, lotions, foams, creams, jams, liquid/solid mixtures and other items of similar consistency) and receipts purchased from any airport or airline sealed at the time of purchase inside a security bag with a red border (STEB), subject to security control;
- medicines and special dietary products, essential during the journey, accompanied by the relative medical prescription;
- food for children (up to 10 years old), vital for the trip. These items may be subject to additional security checks;
- LAGs in containers of 100ml or less packed in a single transparent, re-sealable 1-litre plastic bag (e.g. approximately 18cm X 20cm);
- all other LAGs screened separately, using the trays provided.
Pass through the security metal detector, having ensured that you have no metal objects on your person.
During the security control process, please monitor all your personal belongings. We kindly remind you that Toscana Aeroporti-PISA S.p.A. is not responsible for loss of any object.
